Any fool can cobble together a great sounding mission statement. (Hundreds do, all around the world, every day.) But this is the part of our site where you can find out more about us by reading about our opinions, what we like, what we dislike, and why. If our opinions mesh, if you like the way we think, if our reasoning makes sense ... perhaps we’ll get on after all.

We’re busy people, so we add to this section when we have the time, and when something worthy of praise (or damnation) has caught our eye.

We have sometimes written articles from questions people have e-mailed in. Feel free, if you really want to.

These articles haven’t been edited with the benefit of hindsight. So sometimes they’re just plain wrong. On some of them we might have added a few notes about what has happened in between the time of original writing and the present. These are clearly marked.
