We have produced video motion graphics using three dimensional (3D) graphics and animation for a variety of clients, both for viewing from DVD and CD, projecting at live events, display at conferences via plasma screens and LCD displays, and even viewing on the internet via either Quicktime, Windows Media Player (WMV files) or Flash video.
We also use 3D computer generated imagery (CGI) for print and web projects. We’ve put together a brief walkthrough to give you a rough idea how the 3D logo above was generated.
(We’re fond of the saying “To the man with a hammer everything looks like a nail.” So we should perhaps stress that just because this particular logo ended up as a 3D computer generated image, not all of them do. We use the techniques most appropriate to the initial concepts and our clients’ requirements. We go where the ideas take us, and we use the right tool for the job.)
