In the rush for spangly new web sites and snazzy video graphics print seems to have become the poor forgotten relation to all these exciting new technologies and media.
We still believe that a well designed and produced piece of print has a valuable part to play in any company’s overall branding and marketing strategy.
With digital technology short run has become far more affordable, and data from databases, spreadsheets or even plain simple text files can be used to customise each printed item in ways never before possible. This customisation ranges from simple personalised direct marketing materials to items that have completely different graphical layouts, colour schemes, typefaces and imagery.
We have a thorough knowledge of the full gamut of print techniques, from the humble single colour job through two and three colours to full colour work. We know about spot colour, lamination, UV varnishing, finishing, folding, perforating, gluing, stitching and binding. We’re not fazed by stock specification, lithography, letter presses, imposition, Hexachrome, digital personalisation, or by the size of the job, whether it’s business cards, posters, large format output, PVC panels, or adhesive vinyl graphics for vehicle livery.
We also still believe in the values of traditional typography. We think it’s important to use proper quotes and not feet and inch marks, and we think the differences between hyphens, en dashes and em dashes still matter.
Have a look in the Portfolio section for examples of our print work; we’ve designed more brochures, adverts, large format posters and banners than we can remember over the years.
